What I think about this theme?
There is no doubt that Andromeda is geared towards readability of your blog content, this point is even highlighted by Theme Galaxy. The frontpage of the theme includes a featured article directly below the header with similar articles listed as well. I suppose not every bloggers would need such intense focus on any one of their blog posts but some bloggers with extremely critical and updated information may find this feature useful and necessary. To my relief, when I click on an individual post, the featured post section immediately disappears and what we get is a clean and professional looking layout.
What I like about this theme are its neat and prominent comment section and sidebars. All the icons and font are large and easy on the eye, bloggers who use this theme do not have to worry about abusing their readers’ eyes. Flickr and Twitter feeds integration allows bloggers to have a closer interactiion with their fans.
Conclusion
Andromeda is a good and neat premium theme but some bloggers may find it a little too simple looking and lack more powerful features such as tabbed navigation table, drop-down menus, etc. However, one of its main advantage is good readability, a feature which is surprisingly neglected in many new themes! Recommended for bloggers who want a simple, organised and self-sufficient platform to disseminate vital information. Most basic features of a modern blog are already offered in this theme, however, one can always turn to the support document, forum for simple customization or even request more advanced modifications from the developer.
